About

Hi! My name is Marcin Mierzejewski, and I’m a software executive and systems architect focusing on building and scaling engineering teams, creating leaders, and delivering innovative products. I specialize in cloud computing, large-scale and distributed systems.

Currently, I’m leading and overseeing the expansion of Google’s Cloud Networking organization in Warsaw and managing engineering teams working on worldwide content and application delivery, security and comprehensive network monitoring for GCP.

Previously, I run the OpenX engineering site in Krakow and managed engineering teams working on low-latency (<100 ms) and large-scale distributed (10,000 VMs/120,000 vCPU) ad-exchange platform processing over 1M requests, 50M events, and 17 GB data per second.

Prior to that, I was CTO at Mezzobit (acquired by OpenX) and Neubloc (software house). Also, I had served in senior engineering roles at Fujitsu (machine learning), Aptiv (hard real-time firmware), and Motorola (high-availability embedded systems).

If you want to reach out to me, you can do it via LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter or Instagram.
